Life As We Know It

Life as we know it hasn't been too interesting for me lately, which I think is probably a good thing.  My weekend was pretty low key since the hubby was in Medicine Hat playing in a cop hockey tourney (which they won the whole thing!! AND my hubby got a hat trick Saturday night! So proud.)

Friday night we went back to the neighbours house to redeem ourselves! It was sushi making round 2 and this time we didn't get so wasted that someone passed out in the corner and someone else did random shots all night and tried to play match maker! ahem Britt. And nope my narcolepsy stayed away and we actually learnt how to make sushi this time! It was great. But the night ended early and we were home by 10pm.  Cass and I watched a few episodes of Four Weddings (its business research!) and then it was bed time!

Saturday was not much more exciting! I did go to Costco with my mom and she bought me a new camera for my upcoming 26th birthday! So I will be taking more pictures again! Later we went to "Life as we know it"

It was a REALLY cute movie. I actually laughed and cried in it!

Sunday consisted of Church with the fam - mom came along too! We then went back to the in laws for brunch and showered my father in law with gifts for his birthday and heard all about their Vegas adventure. At 2pm Cass and I had another meeting with a bride. Her wedding is so fun to plan already because  her theme is goth/vintage!

We're looking at doing a photo booth with a damask back drop and candelabras!
My week isn't going to be TOO eventful... here's the weekly play by play.

Monday: gym at noon, no plans tonight! Hang with the hubby!
Tuesday: gym at noon, no plans at night! Hang with the hubby!?
Wednesday: gym at noon, Lia Sophia Jewelry party at my place.
Thursday: DAY OFF - Remembrance Day. Likely clean my house and pack.
Friday: gym at noon and then having some people over for drinks to celebrate my hubby's 28th birthday!
Saturday: Take off to Vancouver for the week (more birthday celebrations!) and work meetings next week!

  1. I LOVED that movie!! And how exciting is that vintage/goth bride? That's right up your alley! I can't wait to see what you put together. And I didn't know you're going to Van.. Just for fun? I'm so jealous. Anyway, can't wait for Friday. Let me know if you need any help!!
