Neysa the Nissan

Well its been months that I have been dreaming about owning my very own SUV.  I did a lot of research and decided I definitely wanted a Nissan. It was just a matter of the Murano or the Rogue.

I love the Murano, but it was just a little more expensive and bigger than I needed. So I had my heart set on the Nissan Rogue. It was just a matter of time. My original plan was to buy in the fall and save money until then for my new vehicle. I was also debating buying brand new or a couple years old. My issue with buying used is that you don't know what you are walking into. I've only ever owned two vehicles... my first was a 1999 Civic SI

I got this amazing ride when I was 18 years old, fresh out of high school and ready for my first year of university! My amazing mom splurged on me and I was so lucky to have this car, sun roof and all!

In 2008, after 5 years of great ownership I decided it was time to upgrade to a big girl car. I was done University and had started my career, it was time to sell Cindy the Civic. I excitedly purchased a 2004 Mazda 3.

When I purchased this car, it was great. A manual (standard) so I got to learn how to drive stick! Which was always something I wanted to know how to do. It was a great car, until winter hit. I ran into a few problems with the battery, no block heater (important when it hits -46 C - like today!). Overall Mazy the Mazda has been a good car to me, but I knew ultimately I wanted an SUV with AWD and ABS breaking. It's key for winter driving!

Yesterday when my car didn't start and had to get another new battery, I decided enough was enough. I am selling this car asap and getting my Nissan! Little did I know there was a January blow out sale at Nissan and being that it was the 31st day of January, it was the last day to cash in on the sale. So I did it, I bought a brand new 2011 Nissan Rogue SV! I am SO excited to pick up this baby tomorrow!

Neysa the Nissan is dark silver with black interior, heated seats and a back up camera and built in GPS, blue tooth and ipod dock!

I have never had a brand new car before but I am SO excited! I was equally excited to read this review:

The 2011 Nissan Rogue is the best SUV for you if you believe a compact crossover that ventures off the beaten path isn’t necessarily going off-road.  The 2011 Nissan Rogue gets styling updates inside and out, but true to its name, holds onto a maverick streak that sets it apart from the competition. It has just one engine – a four-cylinder – and an unorthodox transmission, makes no pretense of off-road prowess, and emphasizes sporty handling over interior opulence. A restyled front end and a revamped dashboard – including this vehicle’s first navigation system and USB interface – highlight the 2011 Rogue changes.
Should you buy a 2011 Nissan Rogue or wait for the 2012 Nissan Rogue? Buy a 2011 Rogue. It has the updates that will see this crossover through to its model-year 2014 redesign so it’ll look fresher longer than will the 2012 Rogue. The 2012 Rogue isn’t likely to receive additional upgrades worth waiting for and, frankly, by the time it rolls out the redesigned 2012 Ford Escape and 2012 Honda CR-V will be hogging the compact-crossover spotlight.   http://iguida.com/2011-nissan-rogue
