My plan was to upload some photos of the delicious meals I've been making but I don't have my USB cord so that will have to wait... so far my week has been pretty good, with yesterday being Remembrance day I didn't have to work! It was nice to have the day off and I don't mean to be picky but I would've rather had today off. It was SO hard to get up for work today. Regardless, yesterday was a good day. I went for lunch with my good friend Karlene and her two kiddies! I cleaned the house; to prepare for our little house party tonight for hubby's birthday! We're having about 10 couple friends over - Hubby loves to tell everyone he only likes to hang out with couples now. So he's asked me to make a sign that says "Couple's Retreat" hahaha... its his birthday so I guess I should deliver. I also did laundry and packed for our trip to BC! We leave tomorrow morning at 10am!! I'm so excited because this is the first business trip in 2 and a half years that hubby is coming with me! We've been trying to make it work but nothing has so far... so when the opportunity came up to take him with me on his 28th birthday we jumped at it! Saturday we fly to Vancouver and then we are going to take the ferry to Victoria and spend the day/night with one of hubby's BFFs! It should be tons of fun. Then Sunday we'll ferry back to Vancouver and check into our hotel... The Sheraton Wall Centre!! We aren't too sure what we're going to do Sunday, but you see my hubby lived in Vancouver for 4 years (he played hockey for UBC and got his undergrad) so I'm sure he'll have lots of spots he wants to show me, so I'm leaving the planning up to him! There's been talk of the Vancouver Aquarium or a tour of UBC campus and all his fav hang outs! Regardless of what we do I just know its going to be so much fun!  |

I had to come back on and add a little something that I made for my hubby's birthday party. You know how he asked for the "Couple's Retreat" banners? Well I'm just proving to be the best wifey ever... voila:
So jealous of your Van trip!! That'll be so much fun. As for tonight, I can't wait. J's hockey is at 8:45 so i'm going to get him to drop me off on his way which should be around 8 and then he'll come afterwards. Yay!!
